'Pride in Our Community ' aims to encourage Community Groups and Voluntary Groups to develop and maintain community -based Amenity/Projects in their locality that are of long-term benefit and open to the community.
The competition also seeks;
To make communities conscious of their environment
To promote litter-free communities and to encourage development of localities /neighbourhoods.
This initiative also supports the City and County Cork Biodiversity Action Plans through conserving & enhancing biodiversity in our daily lives.
